MASP is affiliated with the
National Association
of School Psychologists.
- There are two levels of certification in Missouri, School Psychologist and School Psychological Examiner. MASP represents both groups. These certifications include recent revisions made by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in September, 2003.

- NASP also offers a national certification called the NCSP.
